The makeup we want to use in our short film will be natural,
this is because most teenagers wear makeup but we want our actress to look
younger than our actor, by wearing more neutral makeup will help convey that. We want a natural base on our actress so that
she has a flawless look on her face and soft eyes and lips, this can be done
through the following methods:
Face-
Primer
Concealer
Foundation
Powder
Blush
Eyes-
Soft brown Shades
Thin eyeliner
Mascara
Lips-
Soft Pink
Lipgloss
The costume of the Female will follow current trends in
fashion, her character will be currently shopping in high street brands such as
newlook, topshop and Primark. Our character will be wearing costumes from these
shops, in the majority of the footage the female character is going to be
wearing day to day clothes and warm clothes due to the time of year coming into
winter. This will mean she will be wearing items of clothing such as jumpers,
scarfs, fluffy socks, jeans, leggings, knitted dresses and cardigans. In one
particular scene the female character will be in her sleepwear, so warm pyjamas
or a onesie could be a good item of costume to use. If we film a morning shot
our female actress could be in her dressing gown which I feel should be
stereotypically pink to convey the typical girly teenager.
The females hair will vary over the days as this will help
the audience understand the change in time and place. This can include being
down, up in a ponytail , bun , half up half down.
The males costume again will follow fashion trends and be
shopping in high street brands such as Topman, River Island, Jack Jones and
Hollister. Our male character also will mainly be filmed throughout the day and
require warm items of clothing, such as jeans, hoodies, scarfs and jumpers.
The males hair will be natural and un-styled, this will
maintain the theme of being casual at home.
The class of our characters are middle class, this is represented in their clothing brands and the way they style themselves.
What class do they represent?
